LUMENTHROPY’S MISSION

Lumenthropy’s mission is to encourage nonprofit organizations to accept lumen donations and to inspire people that hold lumens to donate to worthy causes. We deliver on our mission by raising awareness of nonprofit organizations that accept lumen donations and by running lumen fundraisers for nonprofit organizations.

We believe the increased adoption of blockchain technology, like Stellar, is important because of its humanitarian benefits. Blockchain technology fosters financial inclusion and allows for the low cost exchange of value regardless of geographical location or the size of the amount being transferred. Holding and exchanging value is a basic human need and Stellar makes that available to everyone.
